n the evening of first of July, Land Rover released the new Range Rover model from its range. It’s about Evoque model, a premium compact SUV with an outstanding personality and dynamic design. Land Rover LRX concept finally became series car model. The new model’s name,launched by British brands is called Evoque, in the production version. The new Range Rover Evoque becomes one of the most dynamic and interesting appearances of self landscape of 2010, and its great advantage is that it has kept many of LRX lines, the concept which Evoque was born from. Range Rover is launching as a fighter against as the group Q5-X3-XC60-GLK, with a model that really draws and has all chances to become a hit on the premium compact SUV market.

Land Rover needed the new Evoque for the British manufacturer of large field patterns to have a strong foothold in search of something more environmentally friendly lines. Especially known for their appetite for fuel consumption, models signed by the Range Rover have a younger brother who manages to maintain the balance that went into the red zone. Thus, the 2×4 version of Evoque will issue under 130 grams CO 2 / km, the British model beeing the first manufacturer in the history of Albion which manages this kind of performance.

Evoque is the smallest, most environmentally friendly and has the smallest weight of all Land Rover models created until now and it is released today on the market, not surprisingly at all, exactly in the same year when British brand reaches 40 years of existence.

The name of the new model which enteres in Range Rover field has been chosen to represent a well known label to all world markets and to reach sensitive stringsof the prospective customers. “It was important the new model to have a name which can be recognized anywhere in the world and to overcome linguistic and cultural borders of states. We want to create an innovative, new and different name. An exclusive item name which involves and calls the emotion. Evoque is cosmopolitan and multi-continental, sophisticated and has a perfectly match with urban elegance of the car”, said Phil Popham, Land Rover’s director.

The Evoque version will be available both with front-wheel drive and with four-wheel drive, the manufacturer promising off-road features that beat all the segments. Unfortunately for those expecting more details from the Land Rover, the British have been very stingy to this chapter, confining to announce that the new model will be presented for the first time in front of an audience at the Paris Motor Show, which will be introduced to us this fall. The new Evoque Range Rover comes on the world markets next summer.

In the summer of 2011, 160 countries around the world will get acquainted with the new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. In Halewood, 1,000 new jobs were created at the plant near Liverpool, who will take the British model. The New Range Rover Evoque is a three door model.
